What this site collects
Short version: no cookies of our own, no Google Analytics, and two measurement scripts, both named below with what each one sees.
Reading the site
You can read every guide, download all four cheat sheets and do all forty drills without giving us anything and without us setting a single cookie. There is no Google Analytics here. Two measurement scripts run on every page, and both are described here rather than buried.
There is one measurement tool, and it would be daft to leave it off this page: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which our host adds to each page. It counts page views without cookies and without any identifier that persists between visits — what it records is the page, the referring link, your browser and operating system, your country, and how quickly the page loaded. It cannot follow you across other sites, and it does not build a profile. We use it to know whether anybody is reading, which at the time of writing is roughly seven people a day.
The second is the Whop Pixel, added in September 2026. Whop is the shop that sells the workbook, and the pixel lets them tell which page on this site a buyer came from, so we know which guides lead to a sale. It records a page view on each page you open here and may set its own identifier so that a later purchase on Whop can be matched to that visit; it is Whop's script, under Whop's privacy terms. Nothing else on this site sends it anything: the email form does not, and the drills do not. If you never buy anything, it has counted some page views.
Alongside that is ordinary server logging by Cloudflare, who host the site: the request, the time, and the IP address it came from, kept briefly as part of running and protecting a website. That is what every site on the internet does, and it is not joined up to anything else here.
Two things stored in your own browser
The reading progress on the guides, and your score on the drills, are kept in your browser's local storage under the names jt.read and jt.drills. They never leave your device — nothing sends them anywhere, and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data removes them, and the only consequence is that the progress bars reset.
The third parties, and what each one sees
The typefaces are served from Google's font servers, so loading a page tells Google your IP address and browser. This is the one thing on the list you did not choose, and it applies to every page.
The email form posts to this site's own server, which passes your address to Kit, who run the mailing list. Your browser never talks to Kit directly and Kit's scripts are not on any page here. We use the address to send the sheets and occasional notes about the game; it is not sold, rented or shared. Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately.
Their pixel is described above. Checkout happens on Whop, not here. They take the payment and deliver the file, and they handle your card details entirely — we never see a card number. Following that link means their privacy terms apply to what happens on their side.
Getting your data removed
If you are on the mailing list, the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email removes you. If you would rather your address were deleted outright rather than merely unsubscribed, write to support@jokertile.com and say so — unsubscribing stops the email but leaves the record, and those are different things.
